As a general rule, a testimonial is a written or
spoken statement, sometimes from a public figure,
but mostly from a private citizen, extolling the
virtue of some product or service, which is used in
the promotion and advertising of that category. The
term "testimonial" is most commonly applied to the
practical communication and first hand experiences
attributed to ordinary citizens, whereas
"endorsement" usually applies to sales pitches by
celebrities (and these ‘celebrities’ are usually
compensated financially).
It is one thing for us to speak about ourselves, but
it is another thing when others who have been in
contact with you speak on your behalf. Shades of
Soul Entertainment has been pleased with the fact
that there have been several people from all across
the country, who have been in contact with our
company activities and felt compelled to contact us.
Not only have we received this written
correspondence from people, but we also have
received quite a few telephone contacts from people
who really enjoyed their interactions with our
company. That speaks volumes with regard to what we
as an entertainment company is trying to accomplish.
The “Testimonial” page is perhaps the most important
page on our website. It really speaks about how we
have put together various entertainment activities
and that they were enjoyed by a wide range of
participants. We are very humbled by what people had
to say about us and we do not take these comments
lightly. We invite you to read with others have said

We used "SHADES OF SOUL ENTERTAINMENT”
at our company’s “MEN'S LEADERSHIP
BANQUET" and awards ceremony in the
spring of 2006. Not only did all our
patrons think that the preparation of
the food was exquisite, but the service
and professionalism of the staff for
that evening helped to maintain the high
standards that we have in our company.
They also provided the music
entertainers for our event. Thank you

Speaking as a music artist, there are
good gigs and bad gigs. But our gig at
Shades of Soul’s 2006 “Community
Cookout” was a GREAT gig. My band, Tre's
Theary, performs throughout the
metropolitan area on a weekly basis, and
I can say that the professionalism
extended towards us was probably the
best of 2006. The food, the crowd, the
facilities, and (of course) the live
entertainment ;-) Everythang was
Everythang!!! Thanks, Louis for the
exposure and the experience. We
are looking forward to the next one. Is
possible to set the food up closer to
the band next time (smile)?!

I've had the privilege of attending the
Shades of Soul Entertainment Community
Cookout in 2005 and 2006. I have to
honestly say that this was some of the
best food that I've ever tasted. The
food is seasoned very well and it is
very tasty. It is to die for! If you
have not tried it, I would recommend
that you do so as soon as you get the
opportunity.
